Anne Arundel County: Multi-county solution case study
Organization Profile and Overview: The Five Counties program of Southern Maryland is a grant funded entity that provides ACT services and other community-based behavioral healthcare in some of the fastest growing Maryland Counties: Anne Arundel, Prince George’s, Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s. Headed by Frank Sullivan, Executive Director of Anne Arundel County MHSA, the Five Counties program oversees 6 different provider organizations and services both adults and children in the community.
Challenge: Five Counties faced a multitude of challenges: A majority of services were completed in the community of different counties with only one central management team; Monitoring that providers are adhering to their contract requirements; Creating an accurate fidelity scale report to award funding.
